China - Thailand Money Order Mails; 1958-60 Four pages of well written exhibit sheets showing 4 covers of money orders from Bangkok to China during the "Commune" period (1958-60) the Chinese government did not allow receivers to cash their remittances but to be exchanged for commodities (rice, oil, sugar) as indicated by the red chops on covers after commodities were provided. Two covers franked King Rama IX 2b.(#351), one affixed King Rama IX 1b.(#348)x2, and one bearing 2500th Ann. of B.E. 2b.(#399). Very good condition. Good for those who are interested in studying China History. F-VF(4 pages)
